About Notification
Textiles Committee is a Statutory body, established under an Act of Parliament in the year 1963 and is working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The Committee is engaged in various activities for promotion of quality in textile industry.
The Committee invites applications for the following post.

Junior Quality Assurance Officer (Lab) – Group C : 5* post (2-UR, 1-SC, 1-ST and 1-OBC)
(Including 1 vacancy reserved for PWD (deaf & hard hearing)
Junior Investigator – Group C : 1 post (1-UR)
Upper Division Clerk – Group C : 1 post (1-UR)
Educational Qualification
Junior Quality Assurance Officer (Lab) – Group C:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Technology
OR
First or second class Diploma in Textile Chemistry or Technology with 2 years’ experience in Textile Testing and Analysis.
Junior Investigator – Group C :
Essentials:
- At least second class graduate in Mathematics or Statistics or Economics or Commerce.
- Preferably post-graduate degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Economics or Commerce.
Desirable:
- The candidates should be able to express himself for collecting information.
- Some experience in data collection.
Upper Division Clerk – Group C :
Essentials: Degree of a recognized university
Desirable: Some experience in Government or well organized commercial firm.
Age Limit
Junior Quality Assurance Officer (Lab) – Group C & Upper Division Clerk – Group C : 19-25 yrs
Junior Investigator – Group C : 22-28 yrs
