About Notification 

Applications are invited online from eligible candidates to fill up 2,157 Posts of Staff Nurse on Outsourcing basis in Government Hospitals and to work in various Schemes of the Government initially for a period of one year, extendable as per need.

Educational Qualification (as on 01.09.2019)


Education Qualifications: Applicants must possess the following minimum educational qualifications from an Institution registered with TS Nursing Council
1.1. Palliative Care Staff Nurse:
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing
1.2. Mid-Level Health Providers (MLHP) Staff Nurse:
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing
(The Selected Candidates of MLHP have to mandatorily undergo a 6 months bridge course at an allocated program study center as per schedule to be decided later. Further they should also execute a bond for one year with the concerned District Health Society. After undergoing the bridge course, the MLHP shall work in allotted Sub centers within the District and Sub center should be maintained as Head Quarters)
1.3. Staff Nurse (DME Institutions):
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 34 Years (as on 01/07/2020)

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/ PH/ Ex-servicemen candidates as per rules.

Selection Criteria

1. Merit in the GNM course or in B Sc (Nursing) course will be the sole criteria for Selection.
Merit in the Post Basic B. Sc (Nursing) Course will NOT be the basis of Selection
2. Rule of Reservation will be followed by applying the 100 Point Roster.
3. Selection will be based on merit in the Qualifying Examination by applying the rule of reservation at the Zonal level as per the Presidential Order.
